We offer a library of fifteen ready-made courses, and courses built to order.

Before Training teaches mergers and acquisitions (M&A): sale, acquisition, due diligence and fundraising. The courses are intended for CEOs, finance and accounting departments, and the teams of investment funds and investment banks. They last from one day to several days.

02 · Bespoke

Your needs first. The programme second.

The library is a starting point. We begin with what you expect, and we build the course that answers it exactly, in three ways.

We combine

We bring several courses from the library together into a single programme.

We adapt

We adjust the level, the case studies and the examples to your line of business and to your project.

We create

We build the subject that is not in the library, if it is the one you need.

An example. A CEO preparing a sale works on the company's own accounts, and learns what an acquirer will look for, adjust and question.

03 · Why us

The trainer leads these transactions himself.

Stéphane Hincourt‑Thomassin, founder of Before Partners, teaches what he practises. His background →

He leads these transactions

Sales, acquisitions and fundraisings are the work of Before Partners, all year round.

He has examined the accounts

Examining the accounts of a company being sold or bought is his original profession.

He passes on what he knows

He already trains his clients, both CEOs and teams, in the course of his engagements.

04 · Who it is for

A CEO, a team, a fund or an investment bank.

One person

One-to-one

A CEO or a manager works alone with the trainer, on their own project.

A group of colleagues

As a team

The course brings together a finance or accounting department, a management committee, or the team that will carry the transaction.

Funds and investment banks

For your teams

Your teams work on examining a target's accounts and on the terms of a transaction, on your own deals or on case studies.

05 · How

From one day to several days. Theory, and practice.

Duration

A course lasts one day, or several. The duration is set with you, depending on the subject and the audience.

Theory

We set out the concepts, the methods and the vocabulary you need before going into a transaction.

Practice

We work on case studies, simulations and role plays: comparing two offers and deciding as a group, or holding your own in a negotiation.

06 · The difference

Both sides of the table, on your own cases.

Both sides of the table

Stéphane Hincourt‑Thomassin has worked for sellers and for acquirers. Each subject is looked at from both sides.

On your own cases

The course can be about your company and your project. What you learn is of use the next day.

You know who trains you

The founder of Before Partners designed these courses, and he delivers them himself.

Questions

What we are asked most often.

Who are Before Partners' courses for?

Before Partners' courses are intended for CEOs, finance and accounting departments, and the teams of investment funds and investment banks. They are given one-to-one or to a team, over one day or several.

Can a course be about my own company?

Yes. A bespoke course can be about your company and your project: a CEO preparing a sale works on his own accounts, and learns what an acquirer will look for, restate and discuss.

Who gives the courses?

Stéphane Hincourt‑Thomassin, founder of Before Partners, designed the courses and gives them himself. He teaches what he practises: sales, acquisitions and fundraisings.

A training need?

A first 30-minute conversation lets us define it, and see what meets it: a course from the library, or a course to be built.
